How to shape a minion cake

Making minions can be a little tricky, to get them to stand up right, and also make sure they don't fall in transport. When i used to do cakes, all of them went in the fridge till 30 min before taking to the venu, or collection. The reason for this is. Buttercream, is mainly butter, and this tends to go soft even under icing, this can create bulges that can be hard to get rid of. So putting them in the fridge keeps the shap, and also helps with transportation of the cake. The tallest one i did and took in the car was a 7 tier one, this was all assembled and ready before going. and treached the venu 20 miles away in perfect condition in the heat of the summer.
